Editing Website Structure, Sidebars, and Navigation
- Login to the admin area
- Click the SNIPPETS tab on the top right of the page
- Here you’ll see elements that are shared between many parts of the site:
- HEADER contains the heading title and images and is shown on all pages
- FOOTER contains the text and links at the bottom of all pages
- LEFT_SIDEBAR is the sidebar down the left side of all interior pages
- PRIMARY_NAV is the top-level navigation shown on all pages
- SECONDARY_NAV is the second-level navigation for the individual campuses. This is probably the snipped you’ll edit most often as campuses request pages are added to the navigation.
Snippets generally use Textile, HTML, and what are called Radius Tags. If you see tags that start with <r: those are Radius tags and should only be changed with caution.
