My child currently attends one of the Chavez campuses but I would like to transfer him/her to another Chavez campus – what do I need to do to make this happen?
To request a transfer between Chavez campuses, please contact Joshua Symonette, Operations Manager, or Susan Flora, Director of Operations at 202-547-3975. They will determine if there is availability at the requested campus in your child’s grade work and process the transfer in our system. They will also mail you a transfer approval form that you will need to complete and submit to the new campus as evidence of your decision to transfer.
We generally want to support families wishing to transfer their children, however, as it gets later in the summer and we have wait lists it is harder for us to do. If you believe that you want to transfer your child, please make this decision soon and contact Mr. Symonette or Ms. Flora ASAP to begin the process.
